“I have to conclude that the floor on this tent is a severe weakness.”
Portion of actual user comment on trailspace.com
The North Face Trailhead 6 tent is praised by its users for its excellent build quality and materials used. Users also like its large size and say it easily accomodates 6 people.
Setting it up is a breeze, as most users report, and ca be done quickly, even by a single person. Users have also reported that the tent stands up to very strong wind, as well as heavy rain.
Some users have reported problems with the floor of the tent, calling it its weakness, but most users have had no problems with their Trailhead 6.
One thing that must be kept in mind is that the Trailhead 6 weighs over 20 lbs, so carrying it is not the easiest of tasks. Also, due to its large size, it is sometimes difficult to find an appropriately large camping site.
The North Face Trailhead 6 is regarded as a very good tent, built of excellent materials, which offers enough space for 6 people, but is quite heavy and requires a lot of room to set up.

Company Info:
The North Face brand was established in 1968 in San Francisco, California, when Douglas Tompkins and Dick “Hap” Klopp created an equipment retail store that eventually acquired the current name “The North Face”. This name was chosen because the north face of a mountain in the northern hemisphere is generally the most difficult face to climb.
The North Face’s logo consists of a slightly skewed quarter-circle with two lines running within it. This image is an interpretation of Half Dome, a rock formation in Yosemite National Park, viewed from the west, with the sheer north (or northwest) face of Half Dome to the left.
