The North Face Mountain 25 2 Person Tent: Unbiased Review

PRODUCT REPORT

northfacemountain25The North Face Mountain 25 tent is a 4 season two person tent that is built to provide you shelter on your mountaineering or backpacking adventures.

This tent is designed to withstand the weather by offering you non stretch Kevlar guy lines with many guy-out points to handle lots of wind. Also for those cold nights in a tent there is a polyurethane window that has been tested to -60F, allowing you to maintain warmth in the tent while still being able to check on the weather outside.

The tent utilizes a brow pole that creates a lift venting area that provides great ventilation and at the same time limiting humidity.

The North Face offers all this in the Mountain 25 while weighing in at 7 pounds and 12 ounces, making this the lightest 4-season tent offered by The North Face.

FEEDBACK & REVIEWS

Actual Customer Feedback:
 ★★★★★

“…i decided on this one and couldn’t be happier with my choice.”

“…held against rain better than any tent I have been in.”

“…it held up great in very high winds and snow.”
Portion of actual user comment on altrac.com

This tent has proven it’s ability to withstand high winds, snow, cold, and rain.

The tent also offers two entrances with two vestibules. One vestibule is smaller at 4 square feet while the other is 7 square feet. The larger vestibule is big enough to cook in if the weather outside is frightful. Between the two vestibules the tent offers sufficient room for two campers with gear.

As with most tents you will find it worth your time to set this up a couple times at home so you can do it quickly out in the wilds. Once setup the tent is very good at staying warm and providing protection from the elements.

One of the biggest complaints about this tent is that it is heavy, but for a 4-season tent that offers all these features, there are a lot of people packing this tent.
