The Sierra Designs Antares 3 Tent is a three person, three season tent that optimizes available space by using the Reverse Combi Technology.

Sierra Designs Antares 3 Tent are somewhat displeased with it, and some are wondering how it got through the testing phase.

User reports mention bad zippers, with material getting caught in it, as well as water leaking through some seams, which are not factory sealed.

In fact, one of the biggest issues users have with the Antares 3 tent is the fact that it is not fully sealed from the start, and users who did not read the instructions prior to using it, found this out the hard way.

Other users also report that the foot print doesn’t stay clipped to the poles, but this isn’t a major isue, like those before. On the other hand, satisfied users, who have read the instructions and sealed it before first use, say it is a very good and spacious tent.

The Sierra Designs Antares 3 Tent is a good, medium-sized tent, but one that suffers from poor instructions and no factory seam-sealing. If properly sealed, it offers good protection against bad weather, and its price is certainly attractive.
