Marmot Helium EQ 15 warmth-to-weight ratio is the bag’s prominent feature. Manufactured using waterproof and breathable fabric, most consumers used it because of its ultra-light yet roomy space not common to mummy bags. However, the seams of the bag are not breathable. Most consumers said that the EN test is almost accurate.

The Marmot EQ 15’s shell is so well sealed so you need to deflate it like an air mattress before stuffing it. It however requires extra care in handling due to the light materials used. Its ¾ zipper does not snag. The draft tube in the zipper prevents cold air from seeping in.

Because it still stuffs down a little larger than the size of loaf bread, the stuff bag is a little too small to pack it in easily. Nonetheless, must consumers recommended it for backpackers and mountaineers who want super light sleeping bags.
