Black Diamond Mesa 2 was once hailed as “Killer Value” by Outside Magazine for its excellent weight-to-space ratio. Designed with 36.25 square feet of internal capacity and a peak height of 44 inches, Mesa 2 provides a combination of ventilation and weather protection while keeping its versatility. Its fully seam-taped SilNylon, polyurethane-coated rainfly was designed to keep the moisture off to keep you dry.

The variable diameter poles, integrated, fast-connecting clips make Mesa 2 a quick and easy to set up, free-standing tent. The doors on each side of the tent have vestibules for additional protection against elements and at the same time can be used as external storage. Mesa 2 also features a stripped down configuration to maximize breathability.

Most consumers suggest that it would have other than orange vestibules because it usually attracts flies and bugs. Consumers also say it would be better if it has slightly larger vestibules.
