is a durable, 2 person tent, designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions.

Its single-membrane ToddTex fabric is completely waterproof and windproof, while still being breathable.

The Black Diamond I-Tent is also very light and packable, making it easy to carry in a backpack.

It has a seam-free, laminated nylon bathtub floor, which makes it waterproof, combined with the seamless construction around the doorways.

The 3 zippered vents along with the hooded awning over the door, combine to make an excellent ventilation system.

The Black Diamond I-Tent is praised as a good, 2 person tent, made to withstand brutal weather conditions, however it is a little pricey, but it’s worh every penny.

Users have good things to say about the easy set up process that does not require an extra persons help, and also about its extremely low weight.

Bad weather conditions, including heavy snow, are not a problem in the Black Diamond I-Tent, and no there is no leaking through the seams.

As most users have pointed out, the I-Tent is a little expensive, however, most 4-season tents made for extremely low temperatures are pricier than ordinary tents, and users strongly recommend buying this if you are looking for such a tent.

Black Diamond Equipment, Ltd. is a company in Holladay, Utah, United States, that produces climbing and outdoor gear. Black Diamond was founded on December 1, 1989 when the assets of Chouinard Equipment Ltd. were purchased by Peter Metcalf, Maria Cranor, Meredith Saarinen, Hong Kyu Kwak, plus other former Chouinard employees and a few outside investors. Birth of the new company was facilitated by Yvon Chouinard, who extended deadlines until financing could be arranged.

Black Diamond established itself as a maker of high quality climbing gear and backcountry skiing gear. Black Diamond manufactures a small part of climbing gear in a Salt Lake City facility (including carabiners and climbing protection), has most gear manufactured to specifications elsewhere (mostly in China), and distributes other brands in the United States, including Beal Ropes and Fritschi Diamir backcountry ski bindings. Black Diamond purchased Bibler Tents and Ascension Enterprises to add to their line of mountaineering and backcountry skiing products.
